Rowan St. Clair is a multidisciplinary artist, nonprofit leader, and organizational strategist dedicated to fostering creativity and community impact. As the founder of Bejuco Organization, she expands access to arts education in Puerto Rico, empowering  artists and the art curious  through workshops, mentorship, and creative entrepreneurship programs. Her work in nonprofit management, event coordination, and people development is deeply rooted in her belief that the arts are a catalyst for social change.

Rowan’s artistic practice spans sculpture, murals, oil painting, and mixed media, often drawing inspiration from the vibrant landscapes of the natural world. Her journey as an art educator began in 2014 with the Tushita Foundation in Jaipur, India, where she spent nine months working with students and the community to complete a 200-foot mural, later documented in the book Our Gardens. As a MUSE Artist Scholarship recipient at CUNY Hunter College, she exhibited her work and created a mural for her program’s graduation in 2018.

In 2021, Rowan held a solo exhibition, Nuestra Vida, with the Arana Foundation in Old San Juan, exploring the intimate connection between nature and the human form. The following year, she served as the managing artist for the Puerta de Tierra Artist Residency, contributing to a group showcase. Since then, she has focused on building "Tu Arte," a nonprofit initiative dedicated to making art happen, while also expanding into large-scale commercial projects and 3D sculptural murals that push the boundaries of scale and material. To date, Rowan has completed over 200 murals, fully committing herself to the entrepreneurial pursuit of art.

Her large-scale public art projects—including a 30-foot 3D cement mural atop Mar y Rosa restaurant—blend bold visual storytelling with architectural impact. Through her most recent oil-on-canvas series showcased in Collab 1 with Tu-Arte, she captures powerful singular subjects, evoking deep emotional resonance in each composition.
